Description
Ion Fortuna returns to the New Human Empire bearing a secret document from Cardinal Caterina Sforza. However, Ion’s finds his grandmother murdered, and their family mansion burning to the ground. Ion is falsely accused of the murder and arson, and goes into hiding under the protection of Astharoshe Asran, who has pledged to bring him safely to the Empress Augusta Vladica.
